Our tour guides have many years of experience sailing and guiding in the waters around Paamiut. During the tour, they will share stories about the history, culture, and nature of the different places we visit.
Some things must be seen with your own eyes to be truly experienced. Being out on the water, surrounded by Greenland’s untouched nature, is something that no words or photos can fully describe.
Boat Tour to the Greenlandic Ice Sheet (3 Hours)
Join us on a memorable 3-hour boat tour from Paamiut to the Greenlandic Ice Sheet.
Sail through the beautiful Paamiut Fjord with our local guide, passing towering cliffs filled with seabirds and stunning Arctic scenery. We safely approach the glacier front and make a landing, giving you around 30 minutes near the ancient ice sheet — with the opportunity to see and even touch the ice.
Along the way, you may spot whales, seals, and icebergs, making the experience even more special.

1-Hour Whale & Iceberg Safari
Join us for a one-hour whale and iceberg safari just outside Paamiut.
Our local guide will share stories and knowledge about the whales in the area, including their behavior, habits, and how they live in Arctic waters. As we continue the tour, we’ll sail around impressive icebergs, allowing you to see their size, shapes, and structures up close.
You’ll also learn how icebergs are formed, how they move, and where they come from. This short tour is perfect if you want a quick but unforgettable Arctic experience.
2-Hour Fishing Tour
Join us for a 2-hour fishing tour, perfect for a relaxed and hands-on experience at sea.
Our local guide will help you get started as you fish for cod and other common Greenlandic fish. Along the way, we may also spot whales and seals, making the trip even more exciting.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers — and you can keep your catch (subject to approval).
Sailing time to the fishing area is usually 30–40 minutes, depending on conditions.
